लाइव हिंदी खबर :- लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले दो चरणों में केवल 8 फीसदी महिला उम्मीदवारों ने चुनाव लड़ा था. राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ताओं की राय है कि यह कम संख्या महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने के प्रति राजनीतिक दलों की अनिच्छा को दर्शाती है। लोकसभा चुनाव का पहला चरण 19 तारीख को और दूसरे चरण का चुनाव 26 तारीख को हुआ था. इन दो चरणों के चुनाव में कुल 2,823 उम्मीदवारों ने चुनाव लड़ा। इनमें से 235 महिलाएं हैं। यह सिर्फ 8 फीसदी है. राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ताओं का कहना है कि चुनाव लड़ने वाली महिला उम्मीदवारों की कम संख्या महिलाओं को मैदान में उतारने के प्रति राजनीतिक दलों की अनिच्छा को दर्शाती है।
